Pocket watch with visible balance, ‘Infini’
–
An extremely rare full hunter case watch with visible balance, ‘Infini’, patented by Paul Baume and probably made in Switzerland, circa 1920. The numbered case of this watch, which was crafted from silver, is engine turned on both sides and has front lid with an empty cartouche in the center. The white enamel dial features a central window providing a view to the balance, gold minute dots, black Arabic hour numerals and filigree steel hands. The movement has a rare lever escapement according to Paul Baume’s patent.
The movement is signed.
