High precision pocket chronometer

A high precision pocket chronometer deck watch made by Ulysse Nardin in Locle, Switzerland, circa 1942. The open faced case features a brass case that is securely fixed and screwed, housing a pocket watch with a plain silver case that is also securely screwed. It is marked with a Ulysse Nardin case punch and a unique serial number. The numbered white enamel dial has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, center seconds and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has a precision caliber with Guillaume balance, a lever escapement and a fine adjusting device.
Dial, case and movement are signed and dial and movement have matching numbers.
