Unsigned silver musical pocket watch

A Swiss silver hunting cased musical watch playing on the hour or on demand, circa 1900. The watch features a gilded movement with a cylinder escapement, and the music is played on a pinned barrel using a single comb of 31 tuned teeth. It is numbered 59829 and engraved with patent 6776 depose gesetzlich geschutzt [patent protected by law]. The dial has an off-set white enamel time dial with Roman numerals, an outer minute ring, and a pale pink surround painted en grisaille with a laurel wreath and musical trophies. The case is silver with plain polished covers. It also includes two olivettes for hand setting and switching between winding trains.

The movement is functioning properly. The music is playing and sounds clear. There are hairline cracks on the dial around 4 o’clock, as well as at the bottom left, top left, and top right of the dial. The case is heavily tarnished.
