A decorative Swiss gilt silver, enamel and half pearl set full hunter cased minute repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Glazed, gilt frosted 1/2 plate movement, two hammers/two gongs, governor for repetition, monometallic screw compensation balance.
Decorated white enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary second and blued spade hands. Engine turned case, translucent red enamelled, the front with the polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, the back with a centered polychrome enamelled cartouche depicting a pastoral scene, the borders set with half pearls, pusher for repeating mechanism.
