A high-quality 18K gold IWC pocket watch chronometer for Beyer Zurich, with extract from the archives, circa 1936. An 18K gold, punched, metal dome with dedication Mr Paul Buchenhorner in recognition of 25-year-old loyal customer, Easter 1936, brewery A.Hürlimann A.-.G., inscribed Chronometre I.W.C Schaffhausen Fabrique Pour Beyer-Zürich, calibre 65 T-8″/H5, high-quality bar movement, rhodium-plated and with stripe decoration, large bimetallic screw balance in chronometer quality, blued Breguet hairspring, swan-neck fine adjusting device, minute wheel with screwed chaton, lever escapement, polished steel screws, polished winding wheels with sunburst decoration, bridge/ main plate IWC punched, winding and time setting with crown, original white enamel dial in perfect condition, black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued Breguet steel hands, in full working order, case in good condition, slight defects at the rim, collector’s watch, formerly sold on 20th of April 1936 to Beyer in Zurich, with extract from the archives.
