A decorative Swiss gilt silver, enamel and half pearl set full hunter cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Glazed, gilt frosted 1/2 plate movement, two hammers/two gongs, governor for repetition, screw compensation balance.
Decorated white enamel dial with radial Roman hours, Arabic minutes, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Engine turned case, translucent green enamelled, the front with the polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, the back with a centred polychrome enamelled cartouche depicting a pastoral scene, the borders set with half pearls, pusher for repeating mechanism.
