Silver lever watch with 1/15 seconds scale
–
A technically interesting lever escapement pocket watch in a box, made by Jacot-Burmann in Genéve, Switzerland, circa 1880. This numbered full hunter cased watch was crafted from silver and has a coin edge, an engine turned back lid and a dust cover with the dedication All my Love 12/25/97 added in 1997. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, a 1/15th of a second scale between 7 and 8 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement has a patented lever escapement. Dial and dust cover are signed.
