A large and very rare Swiss brushed steel marine chronometer linear 52 hour power reserve indication, circa 2009. Accompanied by a fitted box, guarantee, instruction booklet, key and COSC certificate. Made in a limited edition of 30 and sold on September 26, 2009. Brushed steel bowl with screwed down bezel, gimbaled in a three tier teak box, glazed top and hinged lid, steel handles. Black dial with two layer construction, luminous sunk baton indexes and Arabic quarters, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, linear power reserve above 6, balance lock at 8. Black luminous baton hands. A brushed steel movement, 15 jewels, fusee and chain, spring detent escapement mounted within two smaller circular plates, cut monometallic compensation balance with cylindrical weights, free sprung helical balance spring with terminal curves.
Dial, case, movement and box (18.5 x 19 cm) signed.
