Very unusual military deck watch

A very unusual like new military deck watch, the so called Royal Navy HS3, made by the International Watch Company, in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1940. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from stainless steel and has a British military marking on the back lid. The numbered white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, center seconds, blued steel hands and is marked Swiss made. The numbered very fine movement has a lever escapement, a fine adjusting device, center seconds and is marked Swiss made.
The movement is signed.
