An Art Deco pocket watch with Extract from the Archives made by Longines in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, circa 1938. The numbered, open faced case of this watch is crafted from steel. The two tone, copper coloured dial has baton hour indexes with Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 and steel Breguet hands. The hand wound movement has a lever escapement.
Case and movement have matching numbers.
