A unique Swiss 18 Carat pink gold hunting cased pocket chronometer, circa 1870.
Renaissance style case, engraved on both sides, punch mark from Girard Perregaux. Glazed movement, a rare calibre with ¾ sunray decorated main plate, separated escape wheel bridge, ankerchronometer, large bimetallic chronometer balance, gold screws, screwed gold chatons. Unique, coloured enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the constant seconds and pink gold hands. Movement and dial signed.
