A rare 18k gold Swiss enamel and diamond-set scarab beetle form pendant keyless watch, circa 1880, gilt cylinder movement.
Concealed white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer track for the minute indication, gold scarab beetle-form case, diamond-set wings with translucent green enamel over engine-turning, chased head with ruby-set eyes, reverse realistically chiselled, stem winding crown to set the time covered by the wings.
