A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with an associated chain, circa 1919. This watch features a rhodium plated bassine style movement with 18 jewels, eight adjustments, and a lever escapement. It boasts a gilt dial adorned with black Greek style numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial, and blued steel Breguet hands. The polished 18 carat yellow gold case includes a monogrammed hinged back. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. It comes with a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, confirming the date of sale as December 24, 1920.
