Silver open faced pocket watch with a rare caliber

An unusual pocket watch with calendar, of chronometer quality, probably assembled in Switzerland, circa 1900. The open faced case is crafted from silver, numbered, engine turned on the back with a monogram FP in the center and was probably made by George Fox & Co. in Southport, England. The white enamel dial has a rare patented calendar, the date digits can be set separately, underneath the rotating English day and has black Roman hour numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial with black Arabic numerals at six o’cloc and black hands. The rare caliber movement has a Swiss anker chronometer with lever escapement.
The dial is inscribed with the patent number and the cuvette is signed and inscribed Frank Parmeter.
