Gold keyless cylinder pendant watch

A fine Swiss 18K gold, enamel and diamond-set hunting cased keyless cylinder pendant watch, circa 1870. Accompanied by a fitted presentation box. The front cover is decorated with a painted enamel scene of Cupid kneeling to collect nectar from a rose cut diamond set flower, an engraved and black champlevé enamel border, the back cover with a painted enamel flower, music and fan trophy. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. Engraved silver dial with painted radial Roman hours, outer dot minute divisions, applied gold foliate border and centre and pierced black hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three arm balance with a flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Signed on the cuvette.
