Gold rare gentlemen’s pocket watch

A very fine and rare, very thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Audemars Piguet in Le Brassus & Geneva, circa 1920. The rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator. Brushed gilt dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original blued steel diamond/kite hands. The polished case with a hinged back and the interior with an engraved dedication. Dial and case signed, movement signed and numbered.
