Andreas Nagl was born in 1624 in Vienna and died in 1710. He became a master in 1667. Nagl is known for several table, bracket and night clocks as well as a miniature pendant watch, which was, at a size of only 33 x 18 mm, one of the smallest timepieces of its time. He was considered to be one of the most important Vienna watchmakers.
