An English silver and horn pair-cased half-quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1750. Full plate movement, verge escapement, two hammers, three-arm brass balance, very finely engraved pierced balance cock with a grotesque face. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions and partially replaced hands. A horn outer case with sound holes, the inner case is silver, very finely engraved and pierced, rear bell. Cuvette and movement signed and numbered.
