A Swiss gold keyless wind minute repeating pocket watch with start/stop centre seconds by Henri Grandjean & Co., Le Locle and London, circa 1880. Engine turned nickel finish Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, two polished hammers striking on two gongs. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, blued steel Fleur de Lys hands and centre start/stop-seconds hand. 18 Carat full hunter case, finely foliate engraved hinged, repeat slide in the band at 6, start/stop button between 3 and 4. Case, dial and movement signed.
