Gold high-relief pocket watch by Kover

A very fine English 18 carat gold triple-cased repoussé verge pocket watch, circa 1760. Full plate movement, chain and fusee, three-arm brass balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals. A leather-covered, gilded brass transport case decorated with studs, the 18 carat gold outer case is chased with a scene of Diana, the Goddess of hunting, the polished inner case is also made of 18 carat gold, maker’s mark HD. Movement signed.
