Gold verge clock watch by Jn Bourquin
–
An early gold English pair cased verge watch with repeater and original key, circa 1760. The watch features a protective case made of solid 18K gold. The main case is beautifully pierced, and the back showcases an engraved hunting motif. It includes a bell and is signed on the original dome Jn Bourquin London No. 459, which matches the signature on the verge movement. The watch boasts a fantastic English movement with a diamond endstone, capable of repeating the hours and quarters. The enamel dial displays Roman radial hours, an outer minutes track with Arabic five-minute numerals and elegant original hands. Additionally, it comes with a very rare figural original key.
