A decorative, small, English, miniature verge pocket watch, in agate case, circa 1760.
Agate/18-carat gold case with diamond thumbpiece, large lateral hinge and applied borders decorated with engraved and chased volutes and scrollwork. Signed enamel dial with Roman radial hours and gilt hands. Gilt full plate movement, keywind and signed, with applied floral decorations, chain/fusee, baluster movement pillars, three-arm brass balance, and a finely engraved and pierced balance cock.
