Silver masterpiece ankerchronometer

A large and heavy silver open faced school ankerchronometer from the La Chaux-de-Fonds Watchmaking School, circa 1972. Glazed ½ plate movement with a large Guillaume gold screw compensation balance. Silver plated dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade & whip hands. The plain case is screwed on both sides. Movement signed and numbered.
