A heavy, high quality English 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch with 52½ minute carrousel, circa 1901. ¾ Plate movement, a lever escapement and gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade & whip hands. The plain case with maker’s mark FT for Frederick Thoms. Case and movement with matching numbers.
