A fine and large Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced lever pocket watch, Chronometro Gondolo, circa 1909. Retailed by Gondolo & Labouriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro. Bridge movement, a moustache lever escapement, wolf tooth winding wheels, patent signature Pat. Jan. 13, 1891, gold gear train, an eccentric fine adjustment and a gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade & whip hands. A guilloché case. Dial signed, case numbered, cuvette and movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original presentation box and an original certificate.
