A Swiss Patek Philippe anchor chronometer in quality Special, made for Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia, circa 1909.
Polished 18K gold case,  dust cover with polished dedication from 1909. Very well preserved original enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV-style hands. Anchor chronometer movement of the quality Special, completely signed and numbered, bridge engraved Special, fine adjustment, wolf teeth, Mustache anchor, Geneva stripes. Case and movement with matching numbers 149689.
