Gold dress watch with a bas-relief decoration

A Swiss 18K yellow and pink gold hunting cased chronometer-type dress watch with bas-relief decoration, circa 1909. Made for the Hispanic market, sold, by Florindo Tenaglia, on the 16th of December 1909. A polished and decorated case with a base relief winged dragon holding a pearl of wisdom, a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute divisions outermost Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds and gold Louis hands. A frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, eight in screwed chatons, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. This watch is sold with a box, certificate of authenticity.
