Gold historically interesting gentlemen’s watch

A fine and historically interesting Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating manual wind pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1910. The movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade & whip hands. A polished case. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original fitted presentation box, certificate of origin (though torn and partially missing), a spare glass, spare springs and the newspaper Illustrazione Italiana dated 1889.
