An English 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Dent in London, London Hallmarked for 1874. The gilt ¾ plate movement with an English lever escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The polished hinged case with a monogram on the front is stamped A.N. Dial and movement signed, dial, case and movement with matching numbers.
