A Scottish 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by William Marshall in Edinburgh, London Hallmarked for 1822. The gilt full plate movement with a fusee verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance cock with steel three arm balance and diamond end stone. Gilt dial with applied Roman hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions on an engine turned chapter ring and spade hands. An engine turned case with chased and engraved band, pendant and bow. Movement signed and numbered.
