A very fine English 18 carat gold hunting cased key wind pocket watch made by George Yonge & Son in London, London Hallmarked for 1830. The gilt full plate movement with a duplex escapement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, and diamond endstone. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track with ¼ second divisions, large subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt spade hands. The foliate engraved case with a monogrammed cartouche on the front. Dust cap and movement signed, case, dust cap and movement with matching numbers, case stamped B.B. G.M. Comes with the original winding key.
