An English 18 carat gold and enamel hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by
E. Dent & Co. Ltd. in London, London Hallmarked for 1870. The gilt ¾ plate English lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The polished hinged case with a polychrome enamel coat of arms on the front and monogram with a crown above on the reverse. Dial, case and movement signed, case further stamped JWS, movement and case with matching numbers. Comes with a 9 carat gold chain and fob.
