Gunmetal pocket chronometer

An important, unique and extremely rare gunmetal and rose gold hunting cased quality 1A Glashütte pocket chronometer made by the Uhrenfabrik Union, circa 1905. The 2/3 plate movement with a rocker chronometer escapement and gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a sunk center, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and fine hands. The plain case with a rose gold crown, pushers, bow, hinges, lug and bezel. Dial signed Uhrenfabrik Union Glashütte in Sachsen, movement signed Glashütter Uhrenfabrik Union, case and movement with matching numbers.
