A very rare Swiss gold, enamel and stone-set pair-cased verge pocket watch, circa 1770. Early verge movement, worm gear.
White enamel dial with R0man hours and Arabic minutes, original stone-set hands. Engraved case, the back with the polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, both sides stone-set. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers.
