A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating musical cylinder pocket watch, circa 1815. An engraved fire gilt full plate movement, cylinder escapement, repeating the hours and quarter hours by pushing the pendant, the musical movement with a music disc. Plain case with a diagonal reeded band. Gold dial with Arabic hours in white cartouches on an engraved chapter ring, a blue enamelled outer minute track, the centre with a polychrome enamel scene depicting an Alpine landscape and a shepherdess playing the flute, blued steel Breguet hands.
