An exquisite and heavy A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte anker chronometer, circa 1898, with extract of the archive.
An 18 Carat pink gold, à goutte, engine turned, beautiful monogram CK, sold to the watchmaker of the Vienna court J.Baumann.
Original glazed movement, Lange & Söhne anker chronometer movement, prime quality 1A with chronometer balance, diamond endstone and screwed gold chatons, golden escape wheel, gold lever, enamel dial in perfect condition, blued steel hands, movement and dial are signed, matching numbers 40532 on case and movement, excellent original condition, nearly unused.
