Technical interesting and very fine pocket watch chronometer by Pierre Favre Locle circa 1865.
An 18 carat gold, a goutte half hunting case, 1/8 hours repeater, Bascule escapement and calendar, engine turned, reeded midsection, signed Favre, dome inscribed Echappement Libre a Bascule, 32 jewels, very rare precision lever movement, finest quality with Swiss spring detent escapement. Repeating hours, quarters and eights, date, original enamel dial, and Roman numerals.
Very beautiful condition, nearly unused, with original mahogany box, a real rarity.
