A Swiss 14 carat gold open faced anker chronometer pocket watch, circa 1890. Gold plated movement with crown winding and large visible rubies, polished steel parts, large bi metallic compensation balance with gold weights and blued Breguet spring with end curve, lever escapement with visible pallets and very short teeth (therefore no balance weight necessary), gold mechanism, swan neck regulation. White enamel dial, gold spade hands and decentral seconds. Case hammered, monogram ‘DJ’ to the back. Smooth cuvette. Accompanied by the original leather box.
