A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter minute repeating pocket watch made by G.A. Huguenin & Fils in Les Ponts-de-Martel, circa 1890. It has a high quality mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, signed G.A. Huguenin & Fils. The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track with Arabic numerals from 5 to 60 in five minute increments, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gilded Louis XV style hands, signed G.A. Huguenin & Fils, Ponts-Martel. The timepiece is housed in an 18 carat yellow gold full hunter case adorned with an allover engine turned pattern. The reverse back cover features an intricately engraved central coat of arms or shield cartouche. The inner 18 carat gold dust cover (cuvette) is polished and signed G.A. Huguenin & Fils, Ponts-Martel, with the movement serial number engraved alongside.
