A French verge in a stone set gold and enamel consular case circa 1760. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel set garnet endstone, plain three-arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with gilt indicator. Pentagonal baluster pillars. Winding through white enamel dial, white stones set between the Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt hands. Three colour gold consular case, polychrome enamel portrait of a young woman on the back. A row of white stones borders the portrait and the front bezel.
