A very heavy English verge pocket watch in a gold open faced case circa 1820. Gilt full plate keywind movement with fusee and chain and signed and numbered gilt dust cover, regulation engraved on the black plate with gilt indicator. Plain cock with diamond endstone in a blue steel setting. Polished three-arm balance, blue steel hairspring. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, black Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, blue steel hour and minute hands. Winding through the back.
