A French 18 carat gold open faced Lépine quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1830. Ruby cylinder escapement, repeating the hours and quarters, exceptional movement quality with sapphire jewels, temperature compensation and parachute. High quality à goutte case with relief rim on both sides. Dome with enamelled inscription. Engine turned silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Comes with probably original key and original box. Movement numbered.
