A rare German 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1870. Retailed by Tiffany New York.  Glazed movement, A. Lange & Söhne precision lever movement of best quality with screwed gold chatons and diamond endstone, hand engraved cock, gold lever, gold escape wheel. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours and red minutes, blued steel hands. Plain á goutte case with monogram, inside an engraved dedication. Dial and movement signed by retailer, case and movement with matching number.
