An unique Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased ankerchronometer with chronograph and counter, circa 1896. Presumably a present from Emperor Wilhelm II to the Russian Tsar in 1896. Ankerchronometer movement, especially large compensation balance with gold screws, wolf’s toothing, Geneva striping, very fine chronograph with register. White enamel dial with blued steel hands. Case with engraved Tsar’s eagle to the front, the back with engraved imperial eagle, in the lid the initials of Emperor Wilhelm II and Tsar Nicholas II as well the date 6 May 1896, dome Cyrillic inscribed and numbered. Accompanied by a 14 carat rose gold watch chain (circa 64 gr.).
