A rare, early Swiss 18 carat gold crown pusher chronograph, circa 1883. Ankerchronometer quality, extra large gold balance with screws, wolf’s toothing, Geneva striping, very early chronograph movement, start and stop with crown pusher. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, blued steel hands. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement with matching number. Plain, à goutte case. Comes with (presumably) original mahogany box with ivory inlay, covered with red silk and an extract from the archives.
