A Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating ankerchronometer pocket watch, circa 1890. Very fine gilt bar movement quality Extra, repeating the hours, quarters and minutes with two hammers, large bimetallic screw balance, blued Breguet hairspring, swan neck fine adjusting device, shifted stopwork. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and fine rose gold Louis XV hands, time setting by slider in the bezel. Very heavy case, the front and back with floral engraving. Cuvette signed: Ls Audemars BRASSUS & GENÈVE. Case, cuvette and movement with matching number, dial and movement signed.
