Watches with this signature are extremely rare. Preudhomme is first mentioned in connection with the workshop of Roentgen in 1776. A small watch by Roentgen is part of the David Collection in Copenhagen and is also signed by Preudhomme. Watches with the signature Preudhomme Newied as well as Berlin are known. The watch was originally part of the Landrock collection.
