An extravagant Swiss silver gilt, enamel and jewel-set open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1790. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, enamel painting to the centre and original hour hand, the minute hand missing. Case with a glazed polychrome enamel painting of a woman on the back, enamelled rim and large jewels to both sides, all jewels original, hinged. Dial and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers.
