A French 18 carat gold and enamel quarter repeating à toc et à tact pocket watch, circa 1760. Verge movement, repeating the hours and quarters. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, original rose gold hour hand, replaced minute hand but from the same time, rare blocking slider for the accidental release of the repeater. Three coloured gold case, blue and white enamel to the back, in the case band slider for striking on bell and muting. Dial and movement signed.
