An attractive and early English silver gilt open faced pocket watch with Liverpool Windows, circa 1820. Very fine movement with Liverpool Windows, sapphire stones, diamond end stone, magnificent floral engraving, chain/fusee. Gold dial with Roman hours and outer minute dots, finely engraved with the view of a castle at a lake, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Engine turned case back, blanc coat of arms cartouche, engraved band.
Case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
